Credit Officer

Mission

Andbank Luxembourg offers a range of credit products with the aim of developing a comprehensive and lasting relationship with its clients. The Credit Officer, together with the Chief Credit Officer, Executive Committee, Risk Manager, and Compliance Officer must ensure the application of the Credit policies and procedures which have been drawn up by taking into account:

• the regulatory provisions set by CSSF
• the group policy and experience in credit operations.

Key Requirements

• University degree in Finance and/or Law
• At least one year of experience in credit department
• Proactive and reliable individual with a high degree of attention to detail
• Good communication, organization and problem-solving skills
• Fluent in English, Spanish and French would be an advantage
• Proficient in MS Office (excel)

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, verify and oversee all documentation related to credit operations/credit cards
• Keep records of the legal documentation relating to credit operations/credit cards
• Provide the Credit Committee with an assessment of the credit exposure by analysing the suitability of and compliance with the policies, strategies and procedures
• Evaluate whether the defined provisions have been adequately established
• Ensure that the borrower’s file is complete, up-to-date and consistent; and that it allows the reader to properly understand the risks and asset quality
• Approvals for renewals or increases in credit limits
• Cooperation in the creation of the legal forms involved in with the credit
• Handling of the correspondence for credit operations
• Monitoring the credit limit and collateral value
